Firm Background

MAXWELL DUNN, PLC was founded in 2004, but its roots span more than 30 years. Before the firm was started, our founding member, Brenda J. Maxwell, established a standard of legal practice rooted in integrity and client-focused advocacy. From the beginning, Ms. Maxwell’s commitment to each client was simple: Serve the client’s needs as if they are your own. MAXWELL DUNN, PLC continues to make that same commitment today. Each attorney is committed to providing service that exceeds your expectations and to function with integrity and professionalism in every matter. Our commitment to excellence includes ensuring that every attorney is involved with continuing education to stay current in the various areas of law in which we practice. Today, MAXWELL DUNN, PLC enjoys an excellent reputation for pursing the highest quality representation for the best possible results for every client every time.

We are a Michigan law firm with offices in both Wayne and Oakland County. The firm maintains an “AV” rating with Martindale Hubbell, a national attorney rating service and we are routinely called upon by other lawyers to assist them with their difficult cases. Our unique business structure includes associate relationships and an extensive collaborative practice. This structure allows us to provide the knowledge, skill and support in each of our practice areas for both litigation and non-litigation matters. What sets us apart further is our use and implementation of cutting edge technology that allows us to bring our office to you, giving clients unparalleled flexibility and control over their most valuable asset: their time. Most of our clients are regional, but our use of mobile technology allows us to serve clients throughout the country, including Ohio, Nevada, and Washington D.C.

Serving the Detroit-metropolitan area and throughout Michigan
